Full cleanup, reconstruction, and tax preparation
This service is designed for artists whose records are significantly disorganized or incomplete. This may include mixed personal and business accounts, missing documentation, multiple sales platforms without usable summaries, or no reliable bookkeeping.
Due to the complexity of disorganized records, all chaos-level engagements begin with a mandatory one-hour Diagnostic Review ($160). During this hour, I will assess your available data and provide a formal roadmap and estimate of hours needed to handle your filing. With this roadmap, you can then choose the path that best fits your budget and timeline:
DIY Organization: Use the roadmap to organize your records independently for your own filing.
Guided Cleanup: Execute the cleanup yourself with scheduled consulting sessions with me to ensure accuracy before you file your own returns.
Full Engagement: Delegate the entire reconstruction and federal/state tax filing process to me.
Should you choose to proceed with my firm for the full reconstruction, we then move into a comprehensive, hands-on engagement intended to bring defensible clarity and structure to your business records before taxes are filed.

The Outcome While a chaos-level reconstruction requires a significant initial investment of time and resources, the result is a defensible, organized financial foundation. My goal is to move you from chaos to clarity, providing you with a cleaned-up base and the systems necessary to manage your business with confidence moving forward.
Required first step
As mentioned above, a paid diagnostic review is required before engagement.
Scope, timing, and estimated hours are confirmed via your formal roadmap.
Timing note
Availability for this level of work is limited later in the tax season.
“Chaos-level” cleanup requires significant lead time. Early engagement is strongly encouraged. Requests received after March 1 will be accepted as availability permits.
Typical time commitment Approximately 8–20+ hours
Billing structure
All services are billed at 160 per hour, with a 1-hour minimum for initial engagements and 10-minute increments thereafter.
Diagnostic Review: The one-hour diagnostic fee ($160) is due prior to the start of the review.
Guided Cleanup: Consulting is provided in pre-paid 90-minute blocks ($240). Time is drawn down in 10-minute increments as we work together. These blocks are non-refundable but remain valid for 12 months and can be applied to any future consulting or tax services.
Full Engagement: A retainer equal to 50% of the estimated total is required to begin reconstruction. Final tax returns will be filed upon receipt of the final balance.
In accordance with professional standards, original client-provided records will be returned upon request. CPA work products (including finalized returns) are released upon full payment of the engagement fee.
